I'm glad Dodge did the right thing and upped the hosepower as they realize the Challenger should not be compared to the Viper. Same should go with the Corvette and Camaro, they are two different cars with different buyers.

If the last zr1 had 638 HP, and the new z06 has 650, probably safe to say the c7 zr1 will be in the 700 HP ball park.

Ford won't even release the power numbers for an S550 GT. Even if they did release a new GT500, we wouldn't know how much power it makes.

I really don't think the "Hell Cat" has crushed the ZL1 at all! We shall see how the "Hell cat" runs on a track ( one with turns) On a parting note there 2doorrocket, I remember me and my buddy once cruzin Down Town Los Gatos and going by Ferrari of Los Gatos. A Viper pulled out of the lot and followed us onto HW 17 heading north. You should have seen the drivers face after he saw that he just got crushed by a '67Chevy II! LOL

They have never raced. Are you comparing different year cars, they all try to one up but is only fair to compare same year cars.
