Its all about the little things...

Everyone seems to know what major specifications they want with the Camaro and have been very vocal about it. But what about all the little gadgets and things that just make you that more happy about your vehicle? I know one of my favorite things to do is personalize anything and everything I possibly can (you should see my custom built computer) so... what "little things" would you like to see come at least as an option with the Camaro? These are the type of things that definately are not deal breakers, but add up with the overall car experience.

I know my list includes:
-Turn signals in the side mirrors
-Steering wheel mounted controls including stereo control
-Climate Control
-Some sort of rear obstacle detection system (does GM even offer these?)
-Rain sensing wipers (geek in me wants it, "ooo my car knows when it rains
-Spoiler
-Headlights that turn on by themselves (for the life of me i just blanked on a better term for them... but they have sensors that determine how much light there is and if the headlights need to be turned on) just because I hate turning on my headlights at dusk.

I'll think of more but I'm already losing ground, as you can all tell by my last addition to the list. So let me hear those options!

-air vent replacements for the fog lights
-racing suspension package with lowering kit
-concept spoiler
-roll cage
-bore/blueprint the engine
-supercharger
-muscle car hood pins
-custom paint job(not anything stupid like the ricer graphics)
-custom plate RICEETR if i can get it off my dad
the list goes on but keep in mind this is if i didn't have a very limited budget, heck i don't even have a big enough budget to buy a used 4th gen

Other than one or two exceptions, I can't see any of those things [i]not[/] being offered. My girlfriend just ordered a new Ford Fiesta (it's a tiny European car) and even that comes with auto lights and wipers - electrically folding mirrors and rear parking sensors!

those little extras would be nice to be honest I havent even though about them. Im sure the Camaro will have those auto headlights. I hate them though. In my other 4th gen I disabled them I like to decide when to cut my lights on and I hate when someone starts they're engine and they're headlights brighten up my bedroom when Im trying to sleep. I dont even know what little add-on's GM even have, I guess Ill have to find out.

In addition to what was already mentioned above, an easily accessible stereo auxiliary jack would be nice.

On top of the first list...

Bumwarmers :lookaroun (Granted, it will be in the garage when the snow falls, but winters in New England can get mighty chilly.)

I'd like iPod integration of some sort.

A dedicated button for a garage door opener (so that I don't need to lug around the remote), sunglasses holder, spare change holder and I'd love it if the rear seats had access to the trunk.

-Steering wheel mounted controls including stereo control
-These are offered almost always on higher trim levels from GM

-Climate Control
-This is either standard or on upper trim levels

-Some sort of rear obstacle detection system (does GM even offer these?)
-GM does offer them but usually on SUV's and luxury sedans

-Rain sensing wipers (geek in me wants it, "ooo my car knows when it rains)
-These are pretty cool but they are usually offered on luxury brands from GM like cadi and buick.

-Headlights that turn on by themselves (for the life of me i just blanked on a better term for them... but they have sensors that determine how much light there is and if the headlights need to be turned on) just because I hate turning on my headlights at dusk.
-This is a standard thing now from GM (ive always driven GM and i dont know what its like to have to remember to turn on my lights.)
These are just guesses from my long past of owning and being around GM vehicles.

One thing that is very important to me is the interior lighting. I love the ice blue gages on the mitsu eclipse. I also love the way the inside door handles on the new Malibu glow, the lights set the mood in side the car for me, especially at night time. Good lighting, gages, headlights, taillights, and any interior lamps, radio, extra touches like the eclipse and Malibu will go a very long ways with me.

Yes, I really love the aux jack in my avalanche as well...I would actually prefer it to integrate the iPOD into the stereo so you can use the stereo controls rather than needing the iPOD to control it.

Rain sensing wipers?? Personally, I hate these...I occasionally drive my mom's '03 VW Passat and it has the wipers that sense the rain (you have to turn the wipers on, but it senses how heavy the rain is and speeds up or slows down accordingly). I hate it, sometimes the wipers will go psycho and go extremely fast when it's drizzling and vice versa. Most of the other things that have been said I agree with. I do have a question...why do you want signals in the mirrors?? I know these come on GMC trucks...possibly Chevy trucks (in the form of an arrow) and my best friend's Scion has them on the tip of the mirror...but why is it necessary if their are side indicators? and I DEFINITELY want iPod integration! Preferably in the center armrest compartment...I just think that would be a nice place out of the way.

First Post, though I have been lurking for quite a while.

God, I could list so many things, but the most important ones will do:

- Brushed Aluminum / Chrome interior accent package
- Racing Suspension Package
- Chrome exterior accents package (fuel door, grill, exhaust tips)
- Aux jack / Ipod input with 5.1 sound
- Ambient Lighting
- Option for limited slip rear diff.

Back up lights...no worries there. You may not like the location...here's a good picture of the pre-pro. You can clearly see the back-up lights on either side of the license plate.

I, personally, would like to see the back-up lights integrated into the brake lights somehow..but even if they remain where they are...I'm still gettin' my Camaro

I thought of another picture without camo that the reverse lights are prevelant:
