Getting wax off rear diffuser

The first time I had a chance to detail my car, I had to do it in dim lighting and accidentally got some wax on the rear diffuser. I still have not been able to get it off and it's driving me crazy! I knew this would happen before I even got the car--another reason why I wish GM painted them from the factory. Anybody know of some tricks to get it off? Thanks.

You may find this hard to believe, but Peanut butter works better than anything at the auto parts store. It has something to do with the oils in it. However I do understand if you dont want to try it, but it does work with no adverse effects

Chunky or smooth? What brand works the best? What do you use to get the peanut butter off with?

There is also a product called WAX BLASTER wax remover. I had the same thing happen with the explorer. My brother in law sent this product to me. It worked very well. I had a lot of wax on the plastic trim around the wheels. It came off nicely.

Now, I only use polish. ZAINO is great.

Lemon juice with a toothbrush or a Mr.clean magic eraser both will work great.
