Per the NHRA rule book for the drag strip you will need a Snell M2005 or Snell SA2005 or newer Helmet the M2000 AND SA2000 are no longer acceptable. The Snell approved 2005 helmets are good till 1/1/2017 . The Snell 2010 are good till 1/1/2022

Same helmet rules for the CamaroCross.
I'm not well-versed on the convertible rules, though. I know you'll need a roll bar, but I forget at which speeds - so I'll let mlee chime in. |

So, back to NHRA rules and no helmet for times over 13.99?

Hmmm mine is pretty much stock minus a CAI. Seen a few verts running last yr. does it matter top up or down?

Does not matter... You can always lift before you hit the finish and just use your 1/8th mile times to extrapolate from.

I'm not sure but I think you have to have a helmet for auto cross no matter what, right? Pretty sure this was the rule last year. I would think you'd want a helmet no matter what your speed anyway. Just safety!

Yes, the CamaroCross will require a helmet for all participants. There is no time cutoff, or limits with different rules.

Convertible tops must be up at all times on the drag strip.

One question I never got answered last year, can I have a passenger in both the autocross and dragstrip. The wife really wants to "ride along". Any rules against this, as long as we both have helmets?
