Overheating at idle.
My car has started to overheat when sitting at stop lights. the needle has not went to far past 220 (middle). Any idea of what this could be? I have a 98 Camaro V6. Also when car starts to overheat the heat starts blowing cold air.. Maybe its a heater core?

Your heater core won't cause your car to overheat. Overheating issues are usually caused by (but not limited to) bad radiators, bad ECU/PCM not turning on the fans, bad fan relays, bad fans, etc, etc...

When the engine is cold check your water in the reservoir and the radiator itself. From what you describe it sounds like you are low on water. Low on water causes the engine to overheat and the cold air is blowing out because the heater core only has no water in the coils so when the fan blows over it all you get is cold air.
