wHILE LOKING THUR ALL THE THREADS i NOTICED THAT LAST WEEK (OOPS SORRY FOR CAPS) a whole lot of people who got called by the dealer tthat got good news got a TPW of April 6th --thru 12th.

I have a feeling all cars with those TPWs for that week will be received at the dealerships at the same tome somewhere betweem May 1st ans May 6th

This ties in with the rumors going around that the may 6th unveiling event will co incide with the arrival of the dealerships first production vehicle and that the owner of dilvered car will be asked to paticipate in the unveiling events across the nation

This is to say that the owner would be asked if he would loke to stay a couple hours to let people not only see the v6 but alsso a v8 which is the exact reason why owners have been told to keet that vehicle in back till may 6th

Thats not what I have heard. Dealers were told as soon as the cars come in go ahead and deliver them to the customers.. None are going to be held back unless the dealer is a A.H.... if they decide to hold mine back, If I am lucky enough to get mine by then, they better be willing to knock 100 dollars a day off the price...

That is not true...Cars will be sold when they make it to the dealer. Some dealers are just asking to have those people bring them around on unveil day.
But there is definetly no rule that they cannot sell the cars before unveil day. Mine will be here before that so I made sure of the rules!

Yep they are encouraged to hold the Dealer cars they are sending but they said since as soon as they are invoiced to the dealer he can sell and deliver them...

Orders are already at the plant scheduled to be built and shipped to you for the Camaro unveiling activity. These units are not showing as in system or in bound units because they are ordered under a special account. As the units are produced and released for shipment, they will be reassigned to a dealership and then shipped. Only then will a dealer see an inbound unit on their reports.

As a reminder, these preordered units will be in one of four models and colors and all of them equipped with the award winning 3.6L V-6 that achieves 29 MPG HWY and 304 Horsepower. The assignment of vehicles will be at random and the dealership cannot make any changes as the units will have already been built.

It is expected every dealership will have at least one unit in time for the reveal on May 6, and in some cases, well before that date. Although we would prefer you to hold this unit until May 6, it is a dealership retail unit, and there are no restrictions to delivering it before May 6.

Yeah and I am Jealous... Who Knows when the V6 guys will get theirs built..
But i did get an E-mail from my dealer saying they hoped to know something by tomorrow evening or next wednmesday at the latest.

Like I said...They can sell the pre-order cars as soon as they show up...The dealer car they are supposed to hang onto.
