They need to look at these things from a "market" perspective, and not a "country" perspective.

The GTA, GMA, Vancouver, Calgary/Edmonton corridor-are all fair sized "markets"....

Just a heads up the GM Canada workbench will now accept and generate an order # for the ZL1 with the M6. If you put in the A10 MXO you will get the error and won't be able to proceed.

This still doesn't mean the dealer will get allocation as none have. BUT it's a step in the right direction!

Yep, just talked to my sales guy and in a nice way he said good luck, 50 are coming to Canada and the 1 they were getting was sold over a year ago. GM really needs to pull its head out of its a$$.

As mentioned in the other thread... this will open up for MY18. Winter cold and tires are the issue for the 17's in Canada right now.

Now to get this thread on topic again. Dealers should see A10 allocations next week and orders will be picked up by GM by the end of this month.

Things are moving along as planned for the A10.

ya unfortunately that was pretty much a given for at least the first few years..
Luckily a 1LE is considered only an optioned 1SS and therefore almost all the regular incentives and 0% financing applied on mine. Also my employee discount specifically excludes ZL1 & Z06 ...unless your some upper upper management nobody gets a break on them in Canada. Typically the rules work differently in the states and I believe that all vehicles are eligible, not certain on that though.

Yup - I guess GM doesn't make enough profit on Canadian sales of ZL1s to warrant more than 50 units, which may be another factor contributing to the low allottment.
If the base price for a ZL1 in Canada is CDN$69,200, that equates to US$52,835 using an exchange rate of $0.76. (CDN$ -> US$)

With the U.S. ZL1 base of US$62,135, that converts to CDN$81,313 using $1.31 exchange rate (US$ -> CDN$).

Do the math anyway you like, but it's obvious that GM is losing a fair chunk of profit for every ZL1 sold in Canada.
