True Drag racing in it's highest form.
RWD = FTW!

Huge Racing slicks with long smokey burnouts.

If AWD was the king of Drag racing. Then John Force would be driving an AWD dragster not a RWD monster with HUGE REAR slicks.

..........Yes............ Street legal cars.......

What kind of mileage do you get out of those? Afterburners?

BTW. Even if the GTR Ran the EXACT SAME TIME as the Z06, it shows what a great advantage AWD is. I can't help but feel your never going to understand this.

Hows that for hypothetical.

Btw. The only trend your seeing is my continuing to present simple and 'easy to understand' examples for the middle school I appear to be arguing with.
My sources were the 2 time-slips I posted earlier of the GT-R and Z06. If it ran the same time it would be an advantage? Well IF the SS could run the same times as the GT-R, then RWD would be advantage. Seriously, what kind of argument is that?

And I'm not attempting to talk down, just baffled by the level of thinking that has been displayed.
You do realize it was the driver's fault... it had nothing to do with the engineering or the fact it was RWD, it was the driver's fault.

Your not getting it. If you really want to know, go back and reread everything. If you just feel like being a d-bag, then oh well. Adios Amigo.

I'm not being a d-bag at all. If anyone is it's you mr. HEY YOU ARE ALL IN MIDDLE SCHOOL. YOU'RE NOT ON MY LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE. That's what I basically re-read...

However, the only thing you have done to justify your "inferiority of RWD vs. AWD" is situations where the driver simply can't drive.

The timeslips you posted pertained only to the ZR1. Do you care to show a consistent test between the Z06 and GTR?

(aka. Not using Dragtimes.com for one, and a private run for another)

Pretty sure I posted two different Z06 timeslips a couple pages back, one with DRs and another with stock tires.

Two different ZR1 slips.... I went back and checked.

SO the z06 has 20hp, 700lbs, and 70lbft on the GTR.... and only wins by .4 seconds..... with a perfect driver.......

And you mean to tell me that you don't see the advantage of AWD?

Let me put it a different way. The Camaro SS beats the Challenger SRT by .4, and the only real advantage is 300lbs.

Stock Z06 with DRs ran by Ranger.

Completely stock Z06.

Radials aren't going to make that much of a difference on an AWD vehicle. It already has, like you even said, crazy amounts of grip.

Again, pumping out the extra 100+ horses in the GT-R would increase it's price. The more HP = the more money, even if it is done from the factory, and saying that it would probably cost more to do it from a factory.

RWD > AWD in drag strips, when people that know what they are doing is driving.
Yeah you didn't check.

I don't see a huge advantage like you keep telling me... especially when their 60FTs are off by .008. It's a slight advantage... and that's it.

Looked at the wrong post then.

Like I said before, this is the point where the evidence is laid out clearly in front of you.... and your either going to connect the dots, or your not.
