Anyone notice the safety clips just hang over the rungs and could easily slip off the edge?

Holy moly! I'm still hyperventilating and I read this whole thread after watching only half of the video.

To the dudes that do that every day.

I need a drink.

I used to sail and go to the top of masts while sailing to work on halyards, though climbing to the top of a radio tower like that is FAR higher than any mast I've been on.

Still, being at the top of a 70' mast when doing Transpac (Los Angeles to Hawaii) out in the middle of no-where was quite interesting.

Climbing a tower like that without the safety cables, though...ballsy!
