Well here's the way I'm looking at it. They can't put less than an LS2 in it, the world will be let down. But if the LS2 is dead, they have to move onto the next best thing. As far as we know, it's the LS3.

those pics are great. i for whatever reason the hood is really standing out to me in the picutres. it must be seeing stripes on actual concept instead of photoshops that does it. me likey

I just saw Bumblebee there on Saturday. I took pictures as well, but none as good as the ones here, so I won't bother posting them (actually, my pictures of Bumblebee are the only ones that didn't turn out blurry).
I spent quite a while talking to both Product Specialists in charge of the Camaro and here's a few things to mention: The first P.S. stationed there (not the one in the pic) said that the vert would be released 6 months after the coupe. I have no idea if that's speculation or if she actually knows that for sure. The sign reads as if the production Camaro will have those specs, but the P.S. said that they did not know/weren't saying what engine would be in the production Camaro. The door handles will be replaced with "more user-friendly" handles. |

Good info ^
I don't think anyone expected those handles to make it to production, but if they're as close as the mirrors, no problem. |

She wouldn't open the door because the inside is all beat up from the movie apparently. She did play with the door handles a bit to show how they worked and they looked mighty inconvenient. Those will be one change that will be in my plus column personally.

I laughed when i say the banner behind the one shot. "Turbocharged with over 260 hp". Thats impressive. Thats also what we expect the base V6 to be around, naturally aspirated.

Well, I'm only resurrecting this as a tribute to how much the current V6 Camaro looks like Bumblebee. Very nice job GM

Seeing those pics again just reminds me how much I wish the fuel door on the production car was on the rear quarter like that. Kinda wish they had duplicated the rims too.

I feel the same about the fuel door. I like the drilled rotors also but I hope they remember to put the calipers on mine.

I was hoping that they'd have a production model Camaro at this years Seattle Auto Show but it doesn't look like it. The ZR1 Vette is going to be there, but I'm not going to go just to see it.
