Bought a scooter today to take me to my work truck and back!! lol I own a business that takes all my time durning 8-5 and my 2011 SS is going through more mods then Joen Rivers............So bought a Lifan 150cc Scooter to help keep the miles down and also keep the "those guys from stealing my rims. (Yep I said it!!!!!!!!!) So anyways.........Anybody done similar?? (And yes I said it!) lol

scooters are awesome for short distances. You can literally park them anywhere (most can fit to a large bike rack haha).

I use one on my campus all the time, but now my brother uses it. We bought a cheap one, but it still works after 3 years and gets around 100 MPG!!!!!

The tank only holds one gallon hahaha... go figure

i went with a Suzuki c50t a couple of years ago (805CC). anything smaller will get you run over in corpus. Love it, full bagger a quick.

good luck with a lifan..... those are notoriously junk.
I used to own a suzuki burgman 400. now that was a decent ride. picked it up with 3000 miles for 3800 bucks. it would run up to 100 mph got 60 mpg running 80 mph on the hwy. totally stable all the way up to 100 mph. anyone looking to buy a scooter i wouldnt mess around with the chineese ones. buy a suzuki or honda. i put on 10k miles in one year when gas was 4 bucks a gallon. best thing i ever bought, aside from the camaro of course.... ahem
i sold the burgman for 3k after beating on it for an entire year. try doing that with a chineese one. wont happen
