He'll be there around 8-8:30 Am , Me & Mark will look over the Route and see if it looks good , then disscuss it with you at the Windmill . If all looks good I'll give him a call when we leave the Windmill and he'll meet us on RT 14 & escort us in to the town to the redlight .. As I said we'll look it over and see what way is better . jeff

PS , Watkins is busy , Because its also the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend,, that what the Police chief told me ...

Seriously, the backup starts long before we get into town. Still might be better to take the back way, except for the poor bastard getting the tickets. I could use a police escort for that.

Make sure you have at least a qtr tank no stoping for gas at that little shit hole so we have to cross traffic

For those unfamiliar with the history of Watkins Glen. We will be following part of the original race course from the early years, albeit in the opposite direction of the races.

We will be climbing the original hill that lead into the village of Watkins Glen.


Then traveling across the infamous railroad tracks just a short drive up the road.

Shortly after decending down the esses, we will come upon the famous Stonebridge




This is a terrific photo opportunity for those of you with a desire to take it, we can make a stop here and maybe get someone to photograph us, before continuing onto the track 2.5 miles away. We have plenty of time to waste, lol. It will be discussed further at the Windmill.
