I think it should be similar to the B-J car but the stripes end on the trunk instead of the spoiler. sort of like this.

To be perfectly honest, I'd give my left nad for those stripes! But, unfortunately, who cares?

Personally I prefer no rear stripes. I plan on front hood stripes only. When I order my SS this summer I hope I can also delete the rear spoiler. This car looks so good as is, why mess it up.

Like otehrs here, I have loved the over-the-spoiler look as seen on the concept, but if the over over-the-spoiler is to be what was on the barret jackson car, then now, I would prefer on the top

first, this poll is about the rear stripes. the reason being is because the front stripes have already been set as ending on the hood due to the very complications you listed.

the reason the Bublebee/Convertible concept style wasn't added is because that's not what GM has displayed as one of the "production versions."
...then again, we did fight to get blue SS models, so maybe i should start a poll to see whether or not to add the 3rd option to the choices ...or not.

actually... the more i see the concept style, the more i like it. let me work on something...

Yes, the hood stripes are set in stone for MY2010, and possibly the rear also. But Hylton thinks the same stripe package may have been used on the VR car at NAIAS and the SIM at B.J., so either option could still feasibly be possible.
My thinking is that the stripes showing on the rear of the car dresses it up a bit, and I prefer, like the bumblebee, they stop at the break between the deck lid and rear body, not on the rear of the spoiler. A third choice would be nice!

sounds like the On-Top version is what we're getting.

Here are some different pics

The black SS has the same 30th Aniversary orange stripes as mine the stripes under the spoiler end just under it ,from the back the bottom ones are not realy vissible and it does not wrap around the top spoiler it ends just before the lip. On the same year Z28 they do continue on the bottom.

The white SS has 35 year aniversary replica stripes they are vissible on the trunk under the spoiler. They still dont wrap around.

You go back far enough you'll find many other combinations so I guess all forms/ways have some history I personaly like the top ending stripes.

I never knew there were so many varied types offered. Thanks. I guess however they end up on the 2010, they won't be totally new as I had thought they were going to be. That helps.
