I think I am going to go with the magnusun kit...

I think I decided on the 01-23-60-173-BL super charger kit for my 2012 ss l99 car, where is the best place to buy it? any sponsors any reason not to buy this kit? thanks

PS I was considering the lsa kit, but I called and he is $6000 for the kit with a rebuilt blower or $6400 for a complete kit with a new blower, I figure for a few hundred more, the magnusun is a better bet...

I did the turbo thing a couple times, twin turbo 1974 challenger(had 70 nose) gt4202r was fun, I did a 2006 hayabusa with a single evo3 (377hp on 2 wheels, daily driving it)... I actually have much more experience with turbos that super chargers, I remember 4 hour long conversations with Ken Culver before anyone even knew what a "megasquirt" was lol...

Anyway, I feel like this camaro should have a supercharger... I am in no way doubting how awesome turbos are, I know first hand having put 39K miles on a turbo charged motorcycle!!! heres a couple pictures of the old girl, you can see the back of it in the second picture, I don't have many pics of it, just videos... Last time I rode it was 6 years ago :( I guess I got old, lol...

I agree agp's stuff is awesome, and turbos are great, but for this car, I kind of just want an SC, PLUS this car already has long tubes, I don't have the stock manifolds or exhaust, not that, that stuff is hard to find by any means, but its just another strike against me going tt... I will admit the ease of installation is appealing, lol... but since the costs are about the same, I will probably stick to the sc...

Like you screen name! Here piggy ;o). Good eatin’!

Wow, GM really jacked up the prices on those LSA parts...

I would say the LSA kit has been very reliable for me — I did buy a spare blower just in case some time back...

Shame, great kit...

'Still love my Maggie! I just wish I could drive it more often ('hard to find a good dry day in this South-Florida wet season).

I'm trying out a Harrop supercharger from Australia. Its based on a TVS 2650 blower. Fountain Race Engines is building my new engine around it and will be running on his engine dyno in the next week or so. Hoping to be around 1,000 whp.

Very cool, I haven't seen any pictures of 10-15 Camaros with a 2650 yet. Please share when you can!

This will be the first Camaro to get this blower I believe. My builder has built a few marine engines with it though.

Wow that's a great deal. I don't expect to replicate that but it's with a try.
