Stupid question , don't yell at me lol

Can we still obtain the origional or origional style wipers for our cars? I have the common Bosch ones on now , and they have been great and lasted a long tme. But iit is finally time to replace them , and I would really like the stock style back again. And hopefully they will have the same longevity.

I use the really expensive silicone Rainx brand wipers and have been using them in Florida sun for 2 years with no issues whatsoever. I doubt you'll be able to get a disposable part like that from GM.

I think I read a little while back that the OG’s from GM are no longer.

I have a set of the Cat Clarity blades on mine. I believe I got them from rockauto, but I can't seem to find them there now.

You might want to treat the rubber with some kind of preservative. If that would even work. That rubber has a finite life, even in the package! The OE's had some kind of deflector wing-thing if I recall, right?

It had a twist on the wiper frame for win to divert if that’s what you’re talking about?

In the Arizona sun, they last about two years. I try not to use them anyways, I carry a microfiber towel and a bottle of Invisible Glass in the trunk at all times.

It speaks volume about the kind of people on here when someone automatically thinks his question is stupid and asks not to be yelled at. Sad.

I think that's more about the people in FB Groups and not actually on forums. You can see he doesn't have a ton of posts, might not know just how awesome all of us are and used to the constant angst in other social media groups.
