I thought there was a "tuner lock" that prevents another tune even when you do that.

Trifecta should have included the stock tune when they sent you everything. I'd ask them which file it is if you're not sure, but yes - you can reprogram to stock easily once this is figured out.

You can adjust the factory tables using HPT, but I see no reason thus far.
Do you know if this car has a Long Term Knock Retard? Does it learn where it saw knock retard and keeps it?

Just wondering if I need to clear out the memory anytime I make changes that combat knock retard.

Thanks.

What octane are you running? I never had any issues with knock.

I'm supercharged, was still getting knock with 91. Recently installed a meth kit and was curious about how the computer handled new detonation suppression techniques.

Ok thanks and I think I have the stock tune but I sold the red cable, I'm sure my tuner has one.

Also as of right now I can't tune my car with hp tuners until Matt or bill figures out the tables correct?

Dang, I knew Matt was good, but I didn't know he was so good, that he could program these cars to become self-aware. Now that is good!

LOL... Thanks everyone.. Actualyl I have not touched the car since last week. I'll be doing some things by the weekend on it, and we'll also bring in FNG too ASAP to figure out the N/A stuff. I have a good idea the N/A stuff will be pretty straight forward.

Stay tuned for updates!!!

I guess you could say the stock tune is the MCP and Tron went in to overwrite
