When I saw the first one in my area this summer, I told some strangers, "Hey look, a 2010 Camaro just drove in" and they turn to me and say "Nahhhhhhhhh, I think that's a new Mustang".

I wonder if people did this back in the day with the original pony cars.

Chances are good that I’d say something equally stupid to a Challenger owner. Heck, the FWD Camaro thread had me confused until fbodfather stepped in.

One other thing, as honk`n big as those bow ties are, you would think they would at least know who the manufacture was.

I really do think it's a matter of people just not knowing cars like others have said.
Most of my friends wouldn't know one car from another, other than what they drive.

Never been called a Challenger seems to be a big difference between the two. Have been asked if its a Mustang Really pisses me off the two look nothing alike Actually nothing looks like a Camaro. Really people!!
