Bumper Sag/Removed Crash Support

Tried searching but could find anything. Does the front bumper sag when you remove crash support?

Why would you want to remove the crash support ? If you have an accident without it and Insurance company finds out they probably won't pay out.

Thanks. I’m fully aware of possible issues resulting from removing it. Just looking to hear for those that have removed it for racing/weight/intercooler fitment, etc on if a new support is needed to hold the bumper to prevent sag or not.

No side effects other than death in a frontal collision.

From what I've seen picture wise an intercooler fits just fine with the bumper support intact. In some of the pictures they actually attach the intercooler to it .

Do you have experience with no crash support? Not the death by frontal impact part. Lol.

Honestly. I know many guys are running with out it at the strip, or huge intercoolers, etc. Just looking for feedback from guys with first hand experience.

Anyone?

something is needed to support the front bumper at speed. it sits fine without it but it is very unstable. there is no way I would run without nothing. get a chromoly one made out of 1" or 1.25" tubing and the weight will be insignificant, support the front bumper, and protect you and the core in a slower speed crash.

You don't use chrome moly for something intended to flex/absorb energy.
