probably driver ability... as that will trump car ability every time. cornerspeed was beating cars he shouldn't... he just seems like a badass driver. lol

both are sweet rides... 1LE was made to battle the Boss 302... and every review I've read says the 1LE is a tad faster.

At lightning lap, it was about 1 second faster.

I find Top Gear to be marvelously entertaining and I miss watching it ever since we gave up cable. But I cannot figure out why the Top Gear folks, mainly Jeremy Clarkson, are so fascinated with drifting. He does it with every performance or pseudo-performance car into which his support staff has been able to stuff him.

Drifting is not practical, it's not the fast way round the track and it proves...nothing.

Top Gear uk are a bunch of clowns that are anti american made, with terrible teeth ! The Z28 is an awesome car on any day on any track!

I guess even TG knows that they have to put up a bit of a spectacle for the tube, else too much of their viewership won't think they're driving the cars anywhere near hard enough. Kind of sad, actually.

When will this episode air? All the TG BBC shows are repeats. I'd a bet in that drag race that Godzilla would win, didn't realize how fast that M6 was going to be! Also like to see where they place on their leaderboard.

Godzilla won the drag race (handily) in the Motor Trend review. All wheel drive, double clutch gear box, so much lighter, there's really no competition there from the Z/28. It was on the track that the Z/28 shined.
