I saw a SIM 2SS at a small car show this weekend. The owner is the local Chevy service writer. He's had his for 3 1/2 months and only has 800 or so miles on it. I told him about Camaro5, he was clueless. The vin was 69xx. Mine is 8002 and i've had for about 10 weeks and have 5996 miles on it right now.

I still get a bit excited when I see another 2010 on the road or parked.
This is by far the most amazing car I have ever owned and i've had many over the years.

ya picture don't do it justice. my grandfather did not like the look of the car and said he would never buy one. but he seen a silver v6 at a chevy dealer while he was shopping for a Challenger and ordered one on the spot, a 2lt/rs. then he calls me to rub it in. so i went down the next day and ordered mine 1ss/rs.

but he got the last laff. his is due to arrive on the 18th and mine is still being built.

A shit eating grin comes across when I spot one in town. Ive seen 3 in town where I live and a few on the roads and parking lots...... I almost left one a note beause it ticked me off because right on the back window was a Mary Kay sticker.

My Camaro is the most beautiful car I have ever driven. Bar none! This thing looks like its doing 120mph sitting still and feels like your sitting in a an F22 Raptor cockpit. I smile ear to ear every time I walk outside to get in it. I am so screwed up that my wife and I just sit on the porch and look at it! NO shit, I really do.

(1) Corvettes, no way. Wouldn't have one if you gave them to me. Actually, If you did give me one I would sell it and get a Camaro. I have driven every kind of Corvette from the early 427s to the bad ass Z06s. Excellent and mean cars but I still want the Camaro.

(2) Mustang. Had one, driven many. OK for the money but the engines are shit if your going to make some serious power. The LS3/L37 Chevy series engines are more versatile and much stronger.

(3) Dodge Charger and Challenger RT or SRT8. Had one, driven many. Look pretty nice but not near as nice as these Camaro's. Hemi engine is awesome design and very versatile. The cars are heavier than Camaro and the engine power needs to be increased to make them comparable to Camaro. The Charger RT suspension is horrible. I sold the Charge RT to get this Camaro. The Challenger SRT8 is the only thing close to the Camaro in performance, looks and cool factor. The SRT8 Challenger would need 500hp to equal the weight to power ratio of the Camaro!
You'd take a camaro over a ZR1? Let's not get carried away.
