If you are a track guy then N2O can be a cheap alternative... but it is very addictive and you will want to keep putting in the larger jets... I know... i speak from first hand experience! LOL!

N2O is basically useless on the street and in many states it is illegal....

On my 4.0 V6 Stang I would get about 10 1/4 miles passes out of a 10 pound bottle... You can certainly fill a lot of bottles ( i was paying $30 to fill an empty bottle) for the cost a supercharger/turbo...

In the end I think a SC or TC is really the way to go....

NOS is a cheap fix, but not really the best choice for a daily driver. I'd much rather go with a built motor or supercharger or turbo setup.

Having to fill up bottles and not having the power on demand all the time is a PIA.

There are a few really good threads floating around with members with great plans on how to increase power in the V6...great swaths of info

ill see if i can dig em up, but given a few min of your time and the button you'll find em

Edit

Turbo is the only way to fly on a 6 -- all the driveability/manors/mpg of the 6 off boost, wild when you put your foot into it.

if you want 400hp, cancel you order and buy the SS.

Don't mess around. If you want the real deal, get the real deal. This car is just too good to play around with. Come on, just pull the trigger. You will not regret it.

You're only 16!

Only 16 and you'll be driving this car. Good for you. Best of luck to you.

Just so you know, comments like this don't go over very well over here. Its the V6 forum for a reason, not the V8 forum.

No thanks, I prefer not to add an additional 8th ton on the nose and a thirst for 93... not to mention the ridiculous fake intake slot and brembo brakes that will never get proper use by their owners.

Hate to break it to some folks, but the Camaro is no longer a muscle car (technically it never was - but you get the idea). GM has made a well tuned sports coupe with retro skin... they slapped a V8 in it for the folks who are easily amused by burning (expensive) tires and only care about going fast in a strait line. For everyone else who views it more along it's true sports coupe lines - the 6 is the only way to fly.
