Annoying blue lights in rearview

I was having intermittent issues with blue lights blinding my rearview and also with my ever-lengthening kids squeezing into the rear so I made this little modification to try to help eliminate both problems. It was not an easy removal, very painful actually but installation of the replacement was super easy.

I removed this...

...and installed this...

What do you guys think of this mod?

OP , you could had the rear window tinted with 5% film
Then , keep her only for stress release weekends only
And get the red one anyway , this would have solve all the issues known at that moment and some that may arrive soon , like , rightfootatitis !

Haha. I'm glad you guys got a laugh. Yeah the ZL1 is history. I couldn't keep both as I had to use up my equity to get out of a lease we had on our Traverse. So we did a two-car deal at City Chevrolet in Charlotte. My wife got a new Traverse and I got the only sedan that could take the sting out of trading my ZL1. It's a loaded 2015 SS with TR6060 and MRC.

Hope you enjoy it, I find myself driving my SS more than my ZL1. Now I have the best of both worlds.

Thanks for the encouragement fellas. It's a hard pill to swallow but at least it doesn't taste bad. It's rather tasty, actually.

SS is a nice choice but if I had to trade in the ZL1 for 4 doors, I would have to look at one of these and figure out how to pay the extra uplift

SS Sedan is the only car in it's class, you can get with a manual trans and MRC for under $50K ...
