Just got done with my Maggie install
Ok, so I took the car for a ride and wasn't that impressed.I have the stock Maggie tune on an ls3 and I have to say that I was expecting more. I drove the car about 8 miles and got on it about 3 times and I was disappointed because 3 weeks early I got to drive a stock 2004 viper and that thing was scary fast and my supercharged camaro did not scare me at all.I sure hope that the computer needs to learn or something.I also have a Roto-Fab cai but didnt install it yet because I dont have a tune for it yet, maybe after that install and a tune the car will wake up.Did anyone else have a similar experience?

Def get a custom tune and I would drop down on the pulley. I'm assuming that you have the 3.8. Try the 3.6 with a good tuner and you woun't be dissapointed.

X2 on a custom tune.. I'm willing to bet they have a safe/lazy tune with their complete kit..IMO a good idea ... Did you install this system ?if so what kind of boost is it making?

I did install the kit. I dont know how much boost I am making, but I am looking forward to driving it today because I finished it late last night and only took it for a short ride.I am almost 100% sure that I didnt have belt slip as the tensioner mark was perfect when I got back to the garage. I really thought that it would feel a little stronger than the 500hp viper.

I feel for ya, i wasn't really impressed either with my maggie after install. I'll show ya what im doing so far.
Installed with maggie shelf tune. (felt weak) Got with jannetty racing and got his tune for the 3.6 pulley which i also ordered. (felt smoother more responsive but still weak) Should get 3.6 pulley friday or monday and will further comment on this. I let a few of my friends drive it that drove the car when it just had jannetty's stage one package. They all said it felt badass, and one actually scared the shit out of himself on 5 mph punch. So i thought maybe its just im too used to the car and just can't tell a difference. Another thing i took into consideration is my previous car, a 07 350z hr, was lighter and i had a 150 shot on it. So a press of a button to shoot up the torque of a car that had little torque to begin with feels amazing. On the other hand a car that already has a good amount of torque with a mod that is kinda backwards from nitrous making more hp then torque at a sloping power increase you just dont feel as much. Till i can get my car back to houston track again i am going to keep second guessing this mod. If it pulls good numbers then its just im used to the car, if not maybe it wasn't the best mod for my driving style. Shall see i guess.

I would think even with the maggie tune that it would feel as powerfull or more as the Viper. Maybe something is a miss?

Dot the I's cross the T's and make sure everything is as it should be. After doing that, if the power is still not enough, pulley down and mod up 'till the power is where you want it. The TVS is capable of making enough power to go extremely fast and break lots of sheeeet...... if that's what you're after.

I thought the Viper was 3357lbs and the Camaro was 3860lbs.

It's just a reference.......you could replace "4000lb car" with "Camaro" or "car". i'm refering to the weight of the car because the original post is comparing Camaros to Vipers............HUGE weight difference.
c'mon guys..........are you REALLY under the assumption that just because both are 500hp vehicles that they should perform the same? and if ur 3357lb vs 3860lb comparison is accurate (i'm using exaggerated examples), 503lbs is still a lot. again, the main point is that you CAN'T compare a Viper to a Camaro........they are NOT the in the same league! and if you think you can just bolt on a Maggie and expect the two cars to perform the same.......you'll be VERY disappointed! love the Camaro - just understand it's capabilities...
