Keeping the dust off?

What do you guys use to keep the dust off your cars after a wash? It's like 2 or 3 days later I get all kinds of dust on there! it's very annoying!

Nothing you can do about it unfortunately. You can use a waterless wash to remove the dust, but nothing will prevent it

My car is not black, but a BRM is pretty close. During the spring months here, with the pollen falling fast and furious, I used a California duster. Just go very light, and do not press at all while dusting! I plan on getting a new one every year, as I do not believe their company quote - "the dirtier it gets the better". Call me a skeptic, but anything that's gets dirtier in my eyes is not better

If you drive it its going to get dusty and dirty. Even in a garage there is dust in the air. Either get over the fact it's going to show dust, or be prepared to do a lot of cleaning.
I have owned several black cars and every time I say," Never again!" Mainly because although it looks awesome when clean, it doesn't take much to spoil the look...

Maybe it's just me but it seems like there's some polish's/waxes that draw more dust particles to the paint, there's always this to keep the dust off your car while sitting in your garage www.carcapsule.com .

On my Silverado I use a ground strap that drags on the road. This discharges the static build up from the metal body panels. What this does is keeps the dust from sticking to my truck. No static, no dust. It works. You can get the straps at any large truck store. They cost about $10.

Only downside is that many people come up beside me to tell me "somethings dragging under your truck" LOL !!! On a Camaro, mounting one in the center of the car would keep it out of view.

I have to say I like waterless washes over the California Duster. I got careless and in a hurry once and put some swirls on my hood using the Duster.

I have used one for well over a year. Even carry it in the trunk. No scratches or other markings!

It took a lot of convincing before I was comfortable, but I completely agree with that now. WW are so good now that they really are the safer option.
