2011 ss won't pass NY inspection
Bought the car used in Florida which doesn't have emissions on their inspection from where I purchased the car. I tired to get the car inspected here in NY and it will not pass. I get 3 incompletes when hooked up to the computer but I don't get any codes or any dash lights. The 3 incompletes are Evap, Cat, and Heated Cat. Any help would be much appreciated. The car is a 650 Hennessey and they will not call me back on my issue.
Thanks |

Any modifications done? Exhaust, cai, tune?
Same thing happened to me, took it back to the dealer to have the CPU reflash, went to ready status in one 45 min ride. |

dont see anything on the website from Hennessy that it should not pass inspection however you never know because it does not say or if there were alterations done by the previous owner that would get you these issues. Are you sure Hennessy does not pick up? sounds like it would need to be inspected by them to see what is causing the issues

Have you cleared any DTCs recently? Drive it a few hundred miles. Sounds like the monitors just aren't up yet

If you had the battery disconnected or cancelled any codes then the monitors will not be ready. You will need to drive the car 50-100 miles to get the monitors to reset. If you go back and they still do not pass then you might have to look into having the car re-tuned.

Drove the car 100 miles but was not driving it according to the GM drive cycle. Next time out I will do as GM drive cycle recommends. I had the car re tuned, I'm thinking it just needs to be driven now, the 3 that are incomplete are common incompletes so now I just need warmer weather and see what happens, I'll keep everyone posted

I understand its a hennessy, unless the the work was done to the car after it was purchased, bought new as a Hennessy car it still is required to pass emissions. Did the car come with a tuner? Most can when plugged in give emissions readiness status.

Its not the # of miles, but the # of drive cycles.
iirc its 3 drive cycles and I remember its like jumping through hoops to complete a drive cycle.

It's not miles but driving it will set monitors. I had to drive my RX8 283 miles before they came up. Some monitors need to be started from cold start and some require over a half tank of fuel to so make sure you have 3/4 of a tank at least. |

GM drive cycle is my plan, did some research and it seems to be my fix. When I did drive the car it was nothing like the GM cycle, just waiting for clean roads now and ill update you guys how I make out.

If that does not work check your fuse block connections. Mine was loose and it caused a code that would not pass Texas inspection.
