I saw this build on facebook also. It seems to be a very solid build, with great power numbers for 93 octane. I would be interested in what compression they are running and if owner has any plans for E85.

Great job by all involved. It is truly amazing to see the power numbers and track times people are getting out of these cars.

I'm not gonna comment much but say that I've personally seen that dyno make some skewed numbers.

I did notice that also a couple times.

C6 A6 vette with a tsp 231/236 cam, header and cai made 498 rwhp. I dont think so, find it hard to believe.

Seen a built LS1 stock cube go from making a claimed 507whp to another car where it made only 452whp. Same chassis, only difference is one was a stick and the other was an auto. With that said, the auto car was locked in 3rd gear with converter locked too, so same thing as a stick in 4th.

My local dynojet puts locked autos a good bit less than manual cars same build.

How is that possible Bo? A locked auto has less frictional moving parts than a manual? Once the converter is locked, only thing spinning round and round is the direct drum with the 3rd gear clutch packs engaged. Vs a manual that has all of the gears rotating about if the clutch is engaged.

We never see those kind of combos; huge cam, LS7 small bore and MSD. I think those numbers are totally believable. I dont see why it wouldnt crack 525rwhp+

Fluid pump. Locked or not, the pump has to make pressure to hold the clutches and TCC.

This is a very achievable result. Although with the MSD I would think it would have pulled better to 7K instead its falling off like a stock ls3 intake. Needs more air. That 90mm TB is not helping it.

I think the numbers are pretty close. Seen 3 of those style builds in the last year make past the 550rwhp number.

Remember the shelf PRC 260 heads and stage 4.2 cam typically go past the 525rwhp range!

Its a great time to be modding the LS3! From shelf heads cam setups making over 550rwhp to running 9 second passes sbe na with shelf heads & cam!
