I just put in my ctsv trans and it bolted to the zl1 cross member. That looks like a truck 6l90 the way the rear flange is. The zl1/ctsv have a 3 bolt style flange I thought.

Negative.

I had 2 CTSV 6L90’s and both looked like this.

The PN#’s came back as CTSV 6L90’s as well.

If you have the 3 bolt and it fit a ZL1 cross member then it’s probably a Camaro ZL1 6L90.

That is if they didn't sell you another 6L80 from an SS by mistake.

Is it in the car? Got pictures of it? Look up the PN# on the trans via GM parts.

Could be a ZL1 6L90 and that would bolt to a stock SS cross member.

Trans lasted from Sat morning when I picked it up to Monday morning after doing a WOT pull 60-140 for a log.

I had traction control on and was on stock SS wheels and Continental DWS 09's.

My certified GM tech who did the whole install said he warranties all his work and will pull and reinstall the trans no charge.

Explained the problem to Tim King and he thinks either the Circle D converter went south or the converter wasn't installed all the way on the shaft (?) causing the trans pump to fail.

Tim says worst case, $800-$900 to fix plus round trip truck freight shipping.

My friggin' luck.

This crap makes me wish I did a 6 speed manual swap because this auto trans game is testing my patience!

The bell housing, pump and pump housing were damaged.

Tim King at TK Performance only charged me shipping and parts to fix it all, so about $1,100.00 for that.

The snout on my converter was also damaged.

It would be $350 to fix / refresh / clean it with a 1.5 week turn around.

They would have to ship me a box for $50 to get it to them as well.

But I decided just to buy an all new converter (same one) in case anything was wrong with the old one just to be safe.

Sucks but a new converter is 3 weeks out build time from Circle D.

Will post up once it's all done and back together!
