CURIOUS: Camaro White Book (Sources) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

This is something that i've wondered for a while now; Perhaps Scott can chip in :-)

When I look at Camaro White Book they list exterior colors with quantities for each model however Scott's official builds (which can't be broken down further without the chance of inaccurate/conflicting specs) don't indicate how many exterior colors were painted for say the LS, LT, SS, etc..

So I have to ask, where does Mike get his information from? If Mike is getting this information and Scott (Part of Chevrolet) doesn't have this resources, i'm curious how accurate Mikes info is pertaining to the exterior colors and the models.

Mike gets his info from us.

He's done a great job over the years -- and also publishes the Corvette Black Book. I highly recommend it, and in fact,
I don't leave home without my copy of the Camaro White book!

Mike takes the data he's provided and breaks it down further (making an assumption here). Scott could do it too, but doesn't have the time to do it because it takes quite a bit of effort and he's a very busy guy.

All the data is there, just a matter of taking the time to break it all down.
