I already had my do over as well. I originally had a 2010 IBM 2LT. Traded that 3 years later for a 2012 IBM 2SS and am totally satisfied (until I can afford a 2014 Laguna Blue Stingray that is).

Searched all over the state of Texas to find car with color and options we wanted. Color was driving factor since IBM had already been announced as discontinuing. Had planned to order several months later, but purchase was accelerated when colors changed. Found car with all options we wanted except spare tire; Maureen at Rodgers Chevrolet helped us fix that. It's all we wanted then and now: IBM w-Black, 2LT, RS, 6A, sunroof.

Hmmm this goes deeper than cosmetic changes, but I probably would have gone with a LSX engine and forged internals designed for boost, then have G-Force crank up the Maggie to about 16 psi, throwing about 800 hp to the wheels.

I would not have done my car any differently. I thoroughly enjoy it, but considering the money I put into it... in retrospect for me it would have been better to spend a bit more and buy a Ferrari F430 Spider, which is my true dream car. For now the Camaro is big fun. The Ferrari will have to be the next one.

Would've gotten a 45th SS if I could've swung it. If not, a black with IOM 2SS/RS

Will not buy a v6 again with a v8 option available. I love the rumble

I would have got Inferno Orange for extra head turning appeal. Also, no sunroof.

I have a 2012 1lt in Rally Yellow.
My do-over would be a 2lt or 2ss in Inferno Orange Metallic with IOM leather and white Rally stripe. Also the 2 stage exhaust would be nice!

how's all yall Yellows holding up? Still as good as 2010? it was the must have color back then but i'm wondering if the hype has died down a bit.

I got Blue Ray because blue is my favorite color but this color has identity crisis! It's black more often than not.

It would have been nice if the HUD was available in '09 but other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

Hypothetically of I had the money I would have loved to have gotten a white 1LE with NPP. It could have been a 1SS/RS or 2SS/RS. But now that I have my Camaro I wouldn't give it up for a 1LE since it really was everything I wanted back in 09 thanks to Camaro5 my expectations just got higher over the years

If I had the opportunity to do it all over again?

I probably wouldn't get the Camaro. I would saved the extra 6 months and got my first choice, a Lexus IS-F.

Sure, I love my Camaro, but Chevy =/= Lexus

Yeah Bro . . . you have a chunk of change in that ride! However, you Camaro would probably spank the F430 in the 1/4 but probably not on top end.

How do you like the MGW shifter?

I'm happy with my 1SS/RS purchase.
Within one month of delivery I added the 2SS gauge pack and Bluetooth audio control module.
I'm very happy with the black paint quality on my car, and would not change a thing.
