Caffeine and Octane (Atlanta) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After talking with several forum members that were at the Caffeine and Octane today (Oct 5).

After seeing the Ford and Dodge guys all getting together, we need to represent and get all our cars in one area and lined up looking good.

I thought it would be great to have a thread for only this event as it is a month to month event so we get organized before the next event. Here is what I would like to see.

Use this thread to announce the next event so people have time to pre-plan to attend.
Use this thread to set a meeting time and meeting place prior to the event so we can make a "GRAND" entrance.

Since I live just up 400 in Cumming, I'm willing to purchase some small cones and be there early 5am to set them up for the people who can 100% make it to the event, but remember spots can only be held till 7am If wrong please let me know)

Some ideas I have are we can meet over at Home Depot and 6am, Since I will be placing cones for our group I will remain in place with the cones to make sure they are not stolen or moved.

I also suggest we make a statement and really show the rest of the drivers that we are the premiere car enthusiasts and line up and park:

By year
or
By Color
or
By Model (V6,V8, ZL1, SS, Z/28, and so on)

Lets take a vote and see how everyone wants to do it, I personally like by color, but thats just me.

So when an the event is announced for that month please post in this format (feel free to copy and paste whats below.

If anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to add them.

Let make this happen and make some heads turn!

Only when the month event happens. then you will post the info so we can pre-plan. I'll make the next month event post later in the month so this thread pops back up and gets visibility.

I tried getting a bunch of people together for C&O last year, got there early, saved a bunch of spots and 5 other Camaro's showed up. I live by the event and if I'm in town, I always go.

I am finally not on the schedule to work the first Sunday of December, so I may actually have my first chance to attend a C&O!!

went to C&O Sunday and was impressed with the number of Camaros that parked together. didn't recognize anyone but good turnout

Couldn't get there until right at 11AM and most everyone was gone. Just took a drive up hwy 9 to dawsonville and back down 985.
