I like the 5th gen in a nice staggered stance. I run 11" wide rear deep concave wheels with 315 NT05's. 10" wide up front.

My 2013 is my daily, so it's running a squared set up for ease of rotations and tire life.

My 68 is staggered because more meat in the rear is better.

square with strut tower brace can't even compare handling and the ride. This way can rotate the tires

Square, because it looks the SAME! I couldn't help but giggle when reading how people think it makes the car look different. Offset has the outer edge in the same location either way.

The car drives noticeably worse yet handles way better. No comparison. It feels dodgy and grabs road imperfections much more, an easy tradeoff because the car now turns as it is supposed to and no longer understeers. Plus, I can now do the redneck tire rotation that I enjoy, and keep my older tires in back to help reduce understeer. I run, and have always ran a square setup on everything except motorcycles. These cars drive just like obese 240SX's, and I've had three of those.

How does it drive noticeably worse with the square setup?

I would love to have the square setup just for being able to have more options on Tires and to be able to rotate them to gain more miles from the Tires.

I always stop reading right around the time the word “giggle” makes an appearance.

The wider tires apply more leverage against the steering when you hit road imperfections. It happens to all vehicles, some are more noticeable than others. I don't rotate, I just kill one pair at a time and put the new ones up front for maximum safety and performance.

Super helpful addition to the thread. I was just poking a little fun at the people that don't understand suspension and wheel geometry.

What does suspension and wheel geometry have to do with it?
A square setup looks nothing like a staggered setup.
