I was right about the LOT cars in march

Read what I wrote in post 274 I Had a feeling those were going to be DEALER LOT cars with those "M" stickers on them and then given REAL stickers later on.... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19964 TXInfernoSS owns one of them. Notice the VIN... same "vintage" as CTF. Interesting that carfax shows 2 results for that car. I'm guessing that it was titled to GM first and then TXInfernoSS. |

My point is really to say that they had a head start building the DEALER cars so I'm guessing they might be ahead of schedule by now.

But I recall the "GODS" telling us that all those cars were CTF cars. Now we know that some of them are making it to the dealers and being sold.

And at the time I said it was too late to make a couple hundred " test cars " on the eve of SORP. The results from the test would be too late to have any benefit to product development. These cars have lower VIN #s than the $350,000 one.

The apparent quanity of pre-production CTF cars and the fact that they are being offered direct to the public basically the same day of offical marketing lauch date kind of devalues the two Hendricks cars. Doesn't it??
If I had paid the $350K premium for 910001 and found out that there were nearly 1000 90xxxx cars built being offered at the same time....I'd feel....a little "frustrated". No big deal and it may not really matter, but how will history rate and value the first several "real" cars....? |

There will be people out there driving these new Camaros who never even knewthey were making them or what they were before many many of the ones who preordered way in advance and have been anticipating for years. Damn. This is hillarious.
