Torque converter questions

I'm gonna have my tranny flushed but I'm not confident that is going to fix my issue and assume I'm gonna need a new torque converter. If I replace it should I just get the free stock one from GM or go with an aftermarket converter.

If I replace it, what should I be looking for and what are the pricing?

See my signature for the details of my car. So, how high of a stall speed. What are the choices? Anyone with experience with aftermarket ones on the 6 gen.
