Stripe removal
How hard is it to remove stripes from a 2016 Camaro? Would the car have to be polished after removal? I removed pinstripes from my truck that were about 8 years old and ran into issues with clearcoat damage and an obvious line where the stripes used to be. I used the 3m stripe removal wheel but still wasn't happy with the final outcome.

I just pulled mine off our 2010. I used a heat gun and a warm day. Key was to go slow and heat it up and it came off pretty easy. After being on for so long you could see the lines for sure. I used a McGuire's Clay Bar kit on the whole car, check out the YouTube videos, it was pretty easy. That took most of it away accept on the spoiler which was faded and showing it's age anyway. Hope that helps.
