Help me decide on what rearend

As the tittle says. I need help deciding on what rearend to go with. I need everything from the driveshaft on back since I have stock drivetrain. I plan on ordering within the next two weeks and finally get my car down the track again.

I'm over 700 RWHP at the moment but plan on being up closer to 1000 RWHP eventually. I have a Cam, YSi, 4L80 with a transbrake and Drag racing is its main purpose.

I know there's the new Dana, Hammerhead and the 9". What options of gear and posi do I have for each? Which would be my best option? Pros and cons?

I'm in the same boat as you. Sitting at 800 rwhp on stock drivetrain. I'm looking to upgrade mine also. Except I'm a M6, street/track car. Curious to hear what they say.

I'm in the same boat as you. With that much power a 9 inch or the dana is what I would use.

Look into getting a Wavetrac...very nice piece. I have one in my Moser M9 in my 67 and they are quiet, take a lot of power, and have a life time warranty.

I have the Gforce 9 inch and it is awesome! I just drove it about 900 miles from Tennessee to Texas and it performed flawlessly. I have the 3.90 gear but you can choose from 3.50, 3.73, 3.90, 4.11, and there might be more. It comes with a lifetime warranty also so how cool is that!! If it breaks you get it replaced, can't beat that. Good luck with your decision.

If your going to be at that 1000rwhp mark I would give a hard look at the 9 inch. I worked with DSS to put the first 9 inch in my car in 09 and have had several different versions of the last 4 years or so.We have our version of the 9 inch in the ARH/Farks Camaro that sixtys in the low 1.2x. We can not only help you with a proven drivetrain solution we can help you out with our setup tips to get the power to the ground . We think the best warranty is the one you never need ,our customers seem to agree

The Strange S-60 that we sell is a great rear, a little limited on gear ratios and it doesnt have the S-trac posi that our 9" comes with but the Dana 60 platform has been around forever and it's a little more money.
Our 9" kit is over the top (but that's what we are all about), from it's fully fabricated housing with the 3/8" thick face plates to it's cnc machined bearing blocks and the option of using a standard Pro-Iron pumpkin (no street cases here) or the aluminum Pro-HD bolt through pumpkin.
Our 9" kit comes standard with huge 35 spline inner stubs and the Strange S-Trac 35 spline posi unit.
Our 9" kit as well as our Strange S-60 come standard with our big 31 spline Outlaw axles.
A lifetime warranty is a great peace of mind, even if you don't need to use it.. Nobody has ever broken one of our big 31 spline Outlaw axles, they have been tested to 1.2x 60ft times in our shop car.

We will be kicking off our Thanksgiving sale tomorrow so you might check out our prices this coming week on unbeatable drivetrain packages.

Thanks
Chris @ Gforce

Darkcry just shoot me a text we'll get you in the right direction. Any of the above options are very viable, I will say that the Dana 60 is a nice solution as we have it in our shop car as we've discussed.
