There was a dealer here in town, that had one of the Gen5 versions of these cars. Had it for like two years in the showroom, and they finally blew it out at cost to get rid of it. Thought it was like $125k

Looks familiar lol.
I got my 2017 COPO #23 there last summer. You should easily get it deep into the 8.5's as is and they really handle better than any drag car I've ever driven. There are a few small things you should be looking to do right away if you plan on racing it though. Currently we are limited to 8.5 due to the cage they come with, this winter we'll probably be upgrading to a 7,5 second cage. Last year they didn't offer the black taillights or bowtie unless you got the collector two-tone package which was like 16k extra. I've got the black bowties that I ordered sitting on my desk and been considering the black taillights, just haven't had the time to switch those out yet and they're low down on the to do list since they're just for looks anyway, I also still gotta cut and lay the vinyl for my truck stripes.
