Even though I love mine they are definitely not ergonomically friendly; but all things considered my 02 trailblazer hurts my back far worse than the Camaro.

Max ride time an hour or so before I have to get out and stretch.

Adjusting the seat doesn't alleviate the bottom seat cushion cutting off the circulation to my legs due to sitting at a slight angle.

But hey, that's only me.

I have a back injury from a motorcycle accident and my Camaro doesn't bother me.

Love long trips in my SS- Comfortable as can be. If you want pain try a few hours
in my '06 Impala LT- It was a killer on the back after 3 or 4 hours.

I swear Saleen did some crap to narrow the bolsters in the cheek area...lol.
Seriously, it is narrower and my ergonomics suck. So, I get some tingling action once in awhile.

Just wondering if anyone has developed back Pain after getting your camaro?
I drove it 700 miles home after buying in KY. No back pain and was so comfortable, I told my wife I could have turned around and drove it back.

It may not be the car - if you have a memory foam mattress pad, remove it. I did and my back pains stopped overnight.

Wife complains about back and neck on just short drives... I drove from Boise to Dallas without any issues... Everyone fits a little different, that is to be expected I would think.

The wife's 4Runner kills my hip, she has no problems... Go figure.

Drove from NC to NY and back, including three track days in 7 days, the only pain I felt was my wallet at the gas stations.

Actually I have pretty bad back issues. And I'm perfectly comfortable to drive my car three hours or more. It's a lot better than my Silverado.

Example. Driving in tight traffic correlates to mpg increase.
Cause in this example is not tight traffic but may be wind resistance reduction due to closely drafting the semi in front of you.

One thing might be riding with your wallet in your back pocket. Next trip take it out. I came from a 14' Silverado and didn't have an issue due to the upright position but did sitting in the camaro. Took my wallet out on longer drives and haven't since.

My Family is still making fun of me for this: about 1 week after I got my Camaro I drove it to a shopping mall, parked and got out of the car. Right at that moment I did something to my back and the only way I was able to keep my self from falling flat on the ground, was to lean over the coke bottle fender of my car. It took me several minutes before I was able to slowly slide back into the car and drive home.

On the positive side, this was the only time I had any issues since and I don't really believe it was due to the car per say.
