Nice car! Doesn't sound like the car I'd turn into a LS/pro touring car, sounds pretty special in original form.

Anyway, wait till you see how many places don't list the 327 as an engine option for 69. Like Hagerty Classic Car insurance. Check it out. And they claim to know classic cars! lol

The more common 307 that replaced the 327 is always listed.

Yeah the 307 replaced it in January of 69 if I am not mistaken. I am still undecided on engine/transmission combo. Definitely doing suspension and disc brake upgrade to it.

Just bought myself a 69 RS California car kind of beat up , but real solid. super excited
I have been looking for a long time. hesitated on a few and they were gone quick. I didn't want one that was done already I was looking for more of a project real hard to find a nice rust free California car.
