After much deliberation, I cancelled order, received deposit refund, and placed an order with a dealer with an open allocation...such a shame it requires that much education to buy a car and fulfill a dream. My car (NNHNSV) has a TPW of 14 Sep. If it's on Rodger's Chevrolet lot in time, count on me being there!
If not, my time will come...this is just a lesson in patience and trust.
After all that rambling, count me in a letter and some funds.
Also...Hylton could you PM me. I got an idea on a presentation on behalf of Camaro5, owners, enthusiasts, and Camaro dreamers for the Oshawa folks and GM...trust me it will be wicked cool!
This car gives me the same jitters and excitement of my first date...30 years ago. I think you all know what I mean....
Aw dude... You don't have to change your underwear now do you?

Well I won't be making it out from BC..

But I offer my thanks anyways ! My car is on a train en route to BC as we speak. I know it will be everything I hoped. And without the folks over in Oshawa sweatin and workin and helpin GM get through hard times, and helpin a beautiful machine come to life, it wouldn't be happenin the way it is. With so much passion. I personally have never witnessed a forum devoted to a car grow this fast & large (15,000+?!?!) with this much passion and have never seen so many people from so many wakes of life be so passionate about one car before.... I finally get to have a Muscle car... And it will be the first car that I myself owned & purchased.

Thank you all dearly, for all the time, labor, passion you all invested into making it happen.....

The 2010 Camaro. The best damn thing that Canada and America have joined together to accomplish ever.

Way to go guys/gals and congradulations on being able to play an important role in the rebirth of a legend..

Won't have my attendance at the get together but you have my gratitude and appreciation & respect.

Thank you.

While I understand your point I believe everyone should thank the lucky stars to have a job, that being said just because you have a job doesn't mean you have to do it as well as the Guy/Gals in Oshawa do, they are putting out a great car that it absolutely AWESOME. Awseome job guys, Hylton this is absolutely very cool.

WOW! How cool is that that we have a genuine GM Plant worker on our site! I am serious . . . I want you to know how much I appreciate you guys and what you do. I would love to know more about how the plant works; how many employees are there; do you work 24/7 or a "regular" work day; and anything about the process on building our beloved Camaros, etc. Is there a website anywhere that I can visit for stuff like this? Thanks for all you do, dude!

Oshawa Trip

I am in as long as I can get off of work, should not be a problem. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Trent, let me know about meeting up and caravanning up there.

If we have not ordered yet, can we still come? I am ordering in November. I would love to go to this and visit where my Camaro is going to be built. I live in Niagara Falls, NY, so it's not that long of a trip for me, maybe 2 hours. My G/F wants to come too.

Has the date been set? Is it going to be September 25th? We are making plans on spending the night at a Bed and Breakfast.

No problem. Most likely meet in the parking lot of the Seneca-Niagara Casino and then cross the Rainbow Bridge and hit cruise control for a few hours. We'll try to meet up with anyone coming from the "west" coming through Canada via Detroit/Windsor somewhere on the 401 before Toronto. A caravan is TOTALLY cool. We did that going to the Ontario Camaro Club's 2009 Nationals earlier this year.
