I think, if I remember when I bought my Pegasus mounts, that the Pfadt stuff was much more expensive for essentially the same thing. I'm pretty sure the Hendrix bushing is the old Pegasus bushing - if so they are still the best deal in town.

Definitely agree with the "just go solid" logic - the gains in stability in the rear cradle are well worth the cost. NVH is minimal - I will say that if you're also sporting an LDW Diff cover (has load bolts right on the right gear caps) and firm poly diff bushings you have a pretty direct path for any diff noise to make it's way into the car - and most any diff makes some degree of noise once you have such a direct path. I view that as a sacrifice that has to be made in order to keep the rear end together and performing at it's best.

Those are similar, but with less of a "hill" on the top side, allowing for more of that "surface area" that Fordkiller was raving about last year with the DSEs

Just did my pegasus bushings, The OP failed to mention that getting the old ones out is easy. But putting the rear top bushings is next to impossible without removing the whole cradle. I just did mine yesterday. And due to the alignment pin coming down from the top of the subframe that is 1.5 inches long and goes into the bushing, there was no way to get a 1inch socket in there so we used a 1-inch washer which worked but getting the top rear bushing to seat in the cradle between the subframe and cradle we had to use a 5 foot piece of metal for leverage to get enough room to squeez in the top bushing, it took hours. I just hope we did not bend anything with all the pressure we used to flex the cradle down. Now the car is all over the place when I hammer it but I assume it just needs a alignment I hope. But those rear top bushings are a major PITA to install.

You can lower the whole cradle down safely/without risking damage. I've done these bushings twice and both times lowered the entire cradle down (using a jack under the differential) until the exhaust touches the rectangular support bracket thing in the middle of the car - this will give plenty of room to squeeze in a socket and the top bushings.

I'll second that - I didn't take the whole cradle out, but if you back out the rest of the bolts most of the way you can definitely get your socket in there to push them out.

I got the socket in the front but I was following the DIY instructions which said remove bolts then screw 5 turns back in but in the end after battling the rear tops ended up removing them. Definitely need an alignment now cause I got on it and car was all over 2 lanes scary shit. We kept the adjuster in same place I believe but the Pegasus bushings are shorter than stock so that might be it does anyone know the best alignment specs for all 4 corners car is lowered. Thanks

This is a good starting point. The OEM numbers are off, but the street/strip alignments numbers are good. I currently use the aggressive street.

Cradle bushings for Z28

Anyone put solid bushings in a Z28? Any benefit if so?
I have the all bmr rear cradle arms and bushings in my V6 and it is very nice but I have a solid cradle bushing set I bought for V6 but wondering if they’d benefit the Z more or a waste with the upgraded factory ones.

I believe the Z28 shares the same cradle as the SS/1LE’s so I believe these would be helpful but check the Z28 section.

Parts breakdown has it sharing cradle with Zl1. But I asked in this specific Pegasus solid cradle bushing thread because I had hoped a Zl1 or Z28 owner might be tuned in.
