http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=493311 It sounds like this has been diagnosed as a stroke. That being said, strokes can oftentimes cause permanent neurological damage, so he's not out of the woods yet unfortunately. :( |

Have seen and talked to Scott many times just like many people. Spoke with him on the phone as well. Scott makes everyone feel welcome no matter where you are.

Update on Scott from Tom Henry this morning:
"As of now, he is recovering from a stroke. Tests done over the weekend are as positive as they can be. Initial function signs were pretty good. They are doing a speech test today so we are praying for a positive outcome there. He seems to be progressing on a typical timeline for a stroke. I am told it could be a week or 2 before we see what we are dealing with. I am in touch with the doctors and thank heavens for his friend and doc Neil who is walking me through every test result. Please don't call the hospital or Elaine as they will be overloaded. Also know the family is working on this, let us do our job. Scott has so many great friends it is hard to deal with everybody on an individual basis. The best thing you can do is Pray. Thanks to all of you for your concern." |

I assume the next few days will be very critical in his recovery. He's been a great friend over the years and I really hate that he's going through this so early in retirement. Hoping and praying he doesn't see lasting affects.

Praying for the healing hand of God the Father to touch Scott for healing through the Lord Jesus Christ. Even tho I don't know Scott personally I also pray for peace and comfort for Scott and his family at this time.
