Drop springs
What drop springs do you guys have? Since the verts weigh more than the coupes I'm not sure what springs to get. Most pictures and measurements I've seen are for the coupes.

I'm interested as well. This car has a lot of body roll and id like to eliminate some of that.

Hotchkis 1” drop springs. I have had them on for 5 years now. Back then they had a specific convertible set. I don’t see them listed anymore. As I recall, there was no difference in psi between the coupe and the convertible. Call Hotchkis.

Ive had the BMR 1 inch all around for about two years with no problems. I talked to BMR on the phone before ordering and they told me to order a 1.25 for the front because the back was heavier and would sit lower but I decided to get the 1 inch all around and it sits even.

I'm going to drop mine too. Thinking about 1.25 front and 1.00 rear. Anyone have this setup with pics? I am concerned about my rear suspension with it lowered. Not sure if the squat will start breaking stuff, like axles...

BMR 1 inch drop. Mine sits even front to back. Fender lip about half finger width above the tire.
After 5k miles on the springs it rides better. Reduced roll. I went with MMR wheels 275 fronts / 315 rears. I do not autocross, so no need for bigger sway bars. |

I just installed the 1.5/1.4 X5 springs from Phastek on my 2015 LT vert along with staggered MRR M017 (275/315), vented slotted rotors & ceramic pads. After driving around the block with the bushings loose to index them, the rear sat 1.25" lower than the front. From the ground to top of fender: 29 front 27.75 rear. That's with an empty trunk. Contacted customer service & they're sending some 1" rears to swap out. Hopefully that will do the trick.

You want to measure from the bottom of the wheel, outside lip, to the top of the fender arch. Too many differentials measuring from the ground. The factory height would be approximately 675-685mm high. Too low will put undue stress on your suspension. With a 1” drop this should be in the 25.6-26" (650-660mm) range. At this height there is no undo stress on the suspension geometry, especially the rear shafts.

Thanks SS Panther. Using that method I have 26 1/4 on the front. The rear is on jack stands & taken apart so I can't measure that yet. The new springs will be here Friday & I'll have it back together Saturday morning.

The 1" BMR rear springs worked great. It sits perfectly level now. 1.5" front & 1" rear. I'll get a picture up by morning.
