Girls, DO NOT tint your windows, and keep them open. The fresh air is good for me - uh - you.

The idea is to increase performance while keeping the handling and other benefits of the new vehicle.
Improving on performance sometimes means sacrificing some luxuries.
I wouldn't do all the things I mentioned personally, just mentioning all possibilities I could think of.
I've had lots of classics, musclecars and hotrods, but there is something special about tweaking a brand new vehicle.
Almost everyone I know who has a performance car, modifies and lightens them, so I guess it seems normal to me.
Its also why I'm ordering a 1SS instead of a 2SS, cause I could care less about the bells and whistles.
Its not about affording a 2SS, I just don't like anything the 2SS has to offer except leather, and I can't justify spending 4 grand on leather.
I don't see whats wrong with stripping the car a bit.

A 1LE/1SS with manual cloth seats, manual windows, lighter wheels, 3.73 gear, no Onstar would be nice IMO.

And cut out the sheetmetal quarter panels and replace them with carbon fiber.

Oh, and I feel the exact same way. I ordered a 1SS for this exact reason.

Yea, I dont think we will see manual windows on a 5th gen, it would be nice.

I am burnt out swapping 4th gen window motors, and the crank doesnt fail.

I really hope we can get a manual driver seat in the 1SS, my seat will never be moved.

Now i know its free to strip the car out to make it faster but why, just build the motor. Remember that there are already alot of parts for the LS3, not only that but you could probably use the ZR1 rotating assembly and mount a twin screw on top...

I will more than likely look at some lightening things But I want my car for fun and luxury this go round.

I already have had many cars faster and none of them were that light. Here is my 67 camaro at 3470lbs with full exhaust running on 28 x 11.5 ET Streets thats 8.6" tread on an unprepped street day at the track. 1/8th mile. Many may not understand the ET but pay close attention to the MPH that will give you 1/4 folks a clue. I expect my new camaro to sound simular and run low 10s and be fully street driveable when done with mostly full weight. We will have to wait for me to get it first before I can prove it so I expect some doubters.

Yes, you do that as well, but removing weight costs nothing. So free hp.

Someone should do a count of how many reposts and recycled topics there are on these "BOREDs"

Seriously...we are going crazy here trying to get our Camaro fix. Hey GM...How about a f**king new picture or something to cure our aqua blue balls?
