Are there any ‘special’ places that you guys would recommend for my car to pass inspection in North Carolina?

Mine does not have any mufflers and I have not had any issues with inspection.

I don't get the whole "muffler delete" thing on any car

especially a V6.

to me delete was something the factory did as in radio delete or heater delete. so if i take my motor out do i have engine delete??? no i have a car with no motor.if you take you mufflers off you have a car with no mufflers and it sounds like it needs a muffler.
okay i'm done pushing my way of thinking on people i'm not a Democrat. so do what ever you want.

i just failed inspection in NC because i had my car tuned yesterday so i need to drive it more to reset some things.

Is the inspection required to be in the county you live in? Your location may be helpful.

I must 2ND Twists rant. With all the performance exhaust systems out there unless you've got a full time track car OR you are perpetually angry at your neighbors there is no reason to remove your exhaust systems mufflers. An example of open exhaust needed: New neighbor juvenile delinquent with a hoodless Nissan fart can machine just begging for an open header Oldsmobile V8 serenade during HIS slumber time. Of course he's probably whacked out on Meth so he doesn't sleep.
