MM6 and a 4.56 in an all motor 5th gen Camaro would be beautiful. Nice close ratios, scream through the traps, and still cruise 75mph at 2000rpm. It's a shame a 4.10 is the best we can do in the rear.

Its the weight of the car that makes the biggest difference, could you image if the camaro was even 3500 lbs.

Each year I like the Vettes more and more..I am border line obsessed with the ZR1...owened three Camaro's over my life, but it may be time to put away the mullet and Camaro and start my mid life crisis in a Vette.

I was one of those guys that said he would never own a vette. When I went to replace my 1LE I discovered you could find them with low miles and for the same money as a 5th gen..... Best decision on a hotrod car I ever made. I had plenty of bolt ons that transferred and the rest has been a blast.

C6Z is obviously gonna be the better car. Cam and gears in a Camaro5 is gonna make it alot more fun in my opinion. Also for me the Camaro is still a car that an average enthusiast can work on where the corvette is way more complicated and packed into a smaller package.

Not a huge fan of the LS7, the heads good when small bore on a stroked ls3..you see a ls7 can only be overhoned .005 compared to a ls3 at .020; and they are so spendy. You want some comparable torque you can get it with a stroker cammed, the weight you cant loose but still..down the road a ls7 can be costly and you can see at the crate prices and also sometimes find a used ls7 for cheaper as the owner knows its got a block that's not really rebuildable....where as a ls3 block under $1500 new.. Just a thought if your a long term owner.....old hot rodder here. And the unfortunate thing also is the gear size of the Camaro being small unless its a zl1, the higher ratios like 4:10 heard of them repeatedly being shattered as the teeth get so small....Just some thoughts..... New car fever burns.....LOL I now someday maybe a used ZL1 is what I am eyeing the prices on, but I will never let my Daily go....too much loss. And yes stroked with a milder cam I have more torque than the z06, and torque is what moves you, weight does not help and all Hp is measured off of torque. SO yes its true there is no replacement for displacement …..and yes have had one engine build stock displacement; stroked is so much better..and yes I have more hp than the z06 ….and I also have more torque than HP currently though close at 486 on a mustang dyno SAE with the milder cam until I move up to small bore ls7 heads some day and msd intake. There were some posts on here form a place doing up small bore sl7 heads Gwatney I believe on here recently...anyway the guy who did it eventually stroked it in short order kind of backwards IMO but hey …. If you want cheap power you spray not so friendly to hypereutectic pistons so 150 hp level..... that amount nets about 200 on dyno fairly safe for short term IMO....
