Our service dept employs more gearheads than all of the other dealerships in Houston combined We dread when boring cars come in to get worked on...which is 85% of our business

I have the dreaded buzz. I've been leaving it in "sport", which minimizes the problem, but I'd like to get it fixed. Is there a known good fix yet?

Sadly there is Nothing. Some guys on this thread have had "GM engineers" come out... & as of now nothing has come out. Zero. Sucks

Thanks. Was afraid of that. Hopefully, they'll have something soon. I really would like to go back to touring / stealth when coming into the neighborhood at night, but the buzz is getting worse, and having it in tour / snow really makes it sound bad at certain rpms.

Seems like 100% of those with NPP have the issue.

Can someone please put a video with the rattling/buzzing noise?

I want to check if my NPP is faulty.

How many miles before you guys noticed the NPP rattle? I have about 300 miles on mine and so far no issues. I do leave it in sport the majority of the time though.

Poll

Had the dreaded buzz, first noticed at about 500 miles. Finally took it in 2 weeks ago, said it was in the muffler assembly and due to an internal baffle fracture, ordered a new muffler system. Got it in and installed today, picked it up, buzz is there. I'll drive it for a while to see if it's just a temporary thing since it normally takes some mileage for this to appear but afraid it wasn't fixed by this replacement.

Yeah bc it's the butterfly valve that rattles, not a loose piece in the muffler unfortunately. It's supposed to be fixed in the revised version but mine sure wasn't
