There is a thread somewhere in this V6 section concerning the dynomax. Unfortunently, there are no clips we know of yet. I even contacted the sales people via their website, and they said they didn't have a clip to offer me.

Just installed the Catback Cherry Bomb system on my V6. Really no issues at all. Entire removal/install of system took exactly an hour. I have pics and video of the before after of the sound as well as how it looks. The 4" stainless steel tips really set apart the car from it's stock look. Has a rasp after about 4K rpm but from 500 rpm through 3500 it's by far the best sounding V6 I've ever heard.
One quick note, I started to take apart the stock exhaust at home with a jack and two stands. Be smart and take it to a shop like I did where they can put it on a lift. You will save yourself hours of frustration.

Nice find. First listened through some basic laptop speakers...sounded mean, but then I listened through some nice quality speakers and you really hear the throaty tones as well. For me personally, its just too much, but I can see some on here really loving it lol.

What I'd like to hear, are these mufflers, but without the BBK headers that the car in the video has.

Its late, so going to bed, but I'll be sure to add this to the main post soon.

Which one has enough rumble to override the fuel pumps ticking at idle? The cherry bomb seems pretty good, any suggestions?

I just installed a set of PYPES PERFORMANCE EXHAUST #SGF 52 Cat-bach with 4" tips.
For my synergy green v-6 They look nice and sound good, but has anyone else tried these???
I took them to a local muffler shop to put them on and 3 hrs later and many problems there on. DON'T TRY TO DO IT YOUR SELF cause they don't fit all that good.I 've called tech support and I hope they will work with me I even had to space the cross support for now till I get one steped down.please lmk if anyone else is having this problem!! should I send them back and eat the install cost or keep them ??????

Yes it has been done....in fact there is an old thread or two about the mod, but I think most people end up unhappy with the results. Concensus seems to be that you do end up with a louder/lower sound in the lower RPM range, but once RPMs climb you end up with a pretty raspy sound.

Yep everything here is true.

I also want to add is that if you use the L99 mufflers with Longtubes then the sound is reaaaaaaaaaaaaalllly hollow and the drone is crazy in the cabin. There is a video in the first link under the longtube section of that.

The sticky thread grows even more....I've added alot over the past few months, but today I added 3 new additions to the sticky (the magnaflow one has been on here awhile, just never added it to the sticky)...... Custom Magnaflow setup added, new Flowmaster AMT youtube video added. and now Dynomax axle-back added.

Does someone have another GM exhaust video clip other than the one posted in the front of this thread?
