Exclamation C5-Fest Caravan Rally Points Across the US

This is an opportunity for you to gather up all the information from your Regional Forums and collectively post the meeting points for your Camaro Group so others can see who and how they can meet up for the trip. We will all be eventually passing through a major city - the more the merrier.

Some people are traveling small distances and have over 40 cars in their Caravan. Some people might be reluctant to discuss the details of their route if driving solo. This thread will alert the masses who may be traveling through and give them an opportunity to PM your Caravan Leader and coordinate a tag-a-long, off the Forums.

Please list the following information. Feel free to update your location as things change, provide whatever you think is useful, add whatever necessary. You can even have braggin rights in here with "Who has the largest Camaro-Caravan?"

(The more information you include in your post, the more likely you are to be found in the Search results for new visitors.)

EXAMPLE:
City: Wichita, KS
Meet Location: WalMart parking Lot at I-35 and Broadway Exit (on the west side)
Date: 9:00am April 14th 2010
Route of Travel: I-35 South to Oklahoma City Link up, West on I-40 thru Little Rock, AR - stopping in Birmingham, AL for the night.
PM Contact: KansasCamaro (PM me to be added to the list)

Who's coming:
1.
2.
3.
etc...

Click HERE for information on the MTI open house!

We need to head out of MTI by 10:00. This will allow an hour to get through ATL... FINGERS CROSSED. If we run late, that will cut into our time at Summit Racing because there is big group meeting us there and we are set to leave Summit at noon.

*** Some drivers will be picking up the group in Macon, GA. We are not scheduling a stop here but there will likely be a group staged and I will contact someone with the group so they could join up. We should hit Macon about 1:30.

If you have never been to a Summit Racing retail store, it is really something to see. We will depart Summit Racing at 12:30 sharp and head to the FEST! The last 230 miles should be pretty impressive with such a large caravan!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LOCATION G: VALDOSTA, GA!

TOTAL TRIP:

Route of Travel: I-75 South Departing Knoxville 6:00AM, travelling to Chattanooga.
Departing Chattanooga at 8:00AM, travelling to Atlanta.

Departing Atlanta (Summit Racing) at 12:30 noon and heading to Valdosta.
Plan on arriving in Valdosta by 4:00 PM.

DISCLAIMER:
Key to the success of such a large caravan is making sure we stay on time. Times and meeting points are being determined for all routes and locations. It is imperative that we maintain the time frames indicated. The times will be set to allow a limited amount of time for groups to meet up and move out. When you select a meeting point, be there BEFORE the specified meeting time. Groups will need to depart the meeting locations at the specified times as to not be late to the next stop. The groups will be in contact with each other to update on progress along the way. Individual drivers may want to have contact information of the other members of the group they are in.
