Vehicles like the Z28 will not be put back on the drawing board until GM is back in black ! IMO Reasoning- Camaro is and will be successful without a Z-28. Any money GM has right now will be coming from the taxpayers via government loans. GM will not consciously build anything new that isn't a quarentee of regaining substantial market share. When GM sees market share built to levels that can be foreseen as making GM a profitable company and GM has stron cashflow, then and only then another car like the Z-28 will be resurrected........IMO and my opinion is built on what are strong business principals which are required to 1) be and stay competitive 2) build and sustain profits and cash For now we are stuck with the "SS" ...... what a shame eh!!
