Contact the DMV and see if you can appeal it. I'm sure you can submit an appeal letter. Your justification for the plate is obviously your car's year/model and hopefully the DMV will understand then.
You live in the RepubliK of Kalifornia so it's possible they still won't understand though...

I had the same issue in Pa with the License Plate Guru and he wouldn't budge and it wasn't taken as you can punch in what you want on their website and it will tell you right away if its not available but once you see its not taken you send your money in with like 3 choices. I was so sure on the first try that I was going to get mine I only picked the one (it wasn't taken) ! Oh it was Jax SS that I was trying to get.

Indiana has stopped with personalized plates. Started this summer, a police officer had oink on his and someone complained it was offensive so they stopped all new applications

I can't figure out why it was rejected either. Please check into it further and find out what about it they found was offensive and then let us know. As some others have said on this thread, I have seen many that I think should have been rejected. Maybe just a simple appeal would be adequate, but in the state of CA, I doubt if anything in government is simple.

Ok so I was at work and my wife told me about this. I just got home it says it was sexually offensive. Lol ok.... I asked my wife to call the dmv before it closed she said the lady told her she didn't see how it was offensive and the only thing I can do is appeal. She gave her the address so I will be putting the appeal in ASAP and see how it goes. I just just very curious as to how/why it would be sexually offensive.
I figure I will include info on the 1LE and see where it goes. I will keep you updated on the outcome I am sure it will be comical |
